Receive all purchased items into inventory

· Prepare for shipment of all items to customers or outsource vendors.

· Match the purchase order to the delivery ticket and check for discrepancies and file electronically

· Perform monthly and year-end inventories as required and perform cycle counts as directed by the Materials Manager

· Assist in research of alternate vendors, or discrepancies and resolve with vendor or shipping company.

· Maintain updated, accurate product costs in the system, as well as correct vendor contact information as needed

· Maintain all record keeping associated with the position

· Create and run routine reports

· Communicate with vendors on a regular basis

· Maintain system of ordering materials and supplies

· Observe all safety rules and regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Independence, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Shipping & Receiving: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• English (Required)
